Non-Compliant Certificate

Another client, a mechanical contractor, hired a subcontractor for piping work on a large commercial building. During the install, one of the employees over tightened a clamp causing the pipe to crimp and create a small leak. After years of leaking, the damages climbed to over $50,000 of restoration work. The subcontractor’s insurance certificate on file was inadequate for a claim to be filed against their insurance.
